Detectives are investigating after a woman was robbed while walking home at Loganlea yesterday., Queensland Police say
Initial inquiries indicate around 6.15pm the woman was walking along Errol Street when two men have approached her and tried to steal her handbag.
A struggle has ensured and the woman was punched in the face and fell to the ground.
While on the ground the woman was further assaulted and her bag stolen.
The men fled the scene with the handbag.
The 47-year-old local woman attended the Logan Hospital with facial swelling.
Investigations are continuing.
