Police are investigating the robbery with violence of a 55-year-old man in parklands at Logan Central last night, Queensland Police say.
Around 8pm the man was walking through the parklands near Civic Parade when he was approached by four to six male offenders between the ages of 16 to 18 years.
The group made demands for property from the man before assaulting him with tree branches and sticks before stealing his wallet and a bag.
The males then fled the scene.
The man sustained minor abrasions to his head and right arm and was transported to Logan Hospital for treatment.
