Robbery With Violence, Park Ridge 17 May

Police are investigating a robbery with violence at an address at Park Ridge on Thursday, May 16.

Initial information suggests around 7.40pm a group of people allegedly attended a property on Granger Road armed with a firearm, before demanding property from a male occupant, who was at the address at the time.

During the incident, a firearm was discharged, and a 23-year-old Hillcrest man suffered a wound to his neck. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The group has left the scene soon afterwards with a small number of personal items.

A crime scene has been declared and police investigations are ongoing.
