Rochedale Family's Japan Trip Soars with $1M Win

The Lott

Saturday lotto is proudly played across Australia under the brands Gold Lotto, Lotto, TattsLotto and X Lotto, bringing winning moments to players nationwide.

A Rochedale family's Japan dreams are officially cleared for take-off after a local mum scored $1 million in last night's Weekday Windfall draw.

The Queensland resident held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4680, drawn Monday 23 March 2026. She pocketed a clean $1 million, set to be paid just two days after Easter.

The winning woman found it hard to believe she'd landed a million-dollar win, admitting she initially thought her phone was glitching when she saw her division one prize in The Lott app.

"Oh my god! I can't believe this!" she exclaimed.

"I checked it this morning and, in all honesty, I thought it was a glitch.

"I don't know what to say. It's crazy. I'm speechless.

"My kids have gone to school and my husbands gone to work so I'm just home by myself.

"I've always said to my husband, 'I'm going to win one day!' and he'd always say, 'No you're not.' I can't wait to tell him.

"A few years ago, I won around $1000 and you would've thought I'd won a million then! I was carrying on like I had and I was so excited. Now I can't believe I actually have won a million-dollars!

"It's pretty unbelievable. Even though I always said I'd win, it just doesn't feel real."

When asked how she planned to use her windfall, the winning woman was still in shock but knew she'd be taking her family on a well-deserved holiday.

"My family has been wanting to go to Japan, and we've been saving and saving but now we definitely can go," she shared.

"Thank you so much! What an amazing year."

Her winning 5-game QuickPick was purchased via The Lott app - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
