Come along and learn Chinese characters with the Chinese Calligraphy Group that meets in the Rockdale Library on the last Friday of every month.
The Chinese Calligraphy Group welcomes all skill levels and provides everyone the opportunity to improve their skills in using brush and ink to create Chinese words in various scripts.
Chinese Calligraphy involves focused concentration, self-awareness, and skilled hand coordination. The slow, rhythmic movements of Chinese Calligraphy help to calm the mind, while the attention needed for each brushstroke encourages mindfulness.
The group meets on the last Friday of the month from 10am - 12noon.
