The McGowan Government has opened the fourth round of the $40 million Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants, with up to $250,000 available for regional projects that support jobs and business opportunities.
The first three rounds of the RED Grants program are helping to deliver 222 business and community-driven projects across regional Western Australia.
The McGowan Government has committed $40.8 million over seven years towards the program.
Round four will focus on projects that increase or sustain jobs, expand or diversify industry, develop skills or capability, increase business productivity and attract new investment to the regions.
Applications are now open and close on 21 October 2021.

As stated by Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan:
"The McGowan Government is continuing to back our regional communities by investing in projects to stimulate economic growth and drive long-term sustainability.
"Over the past three years, through the RED Grants program, we have invested more than $20.7 million towards projects in agriculture and mining manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, tourism and professional skills development.
"We encourage businesses and organisations across the regions to consider how RED Grant funding could support their projects.
"Diversifying regional economies and building local business is vital to the long-term strength of our regional communities."
