Normal Tuesday rubbish collections will continue for households on streets not impacted by flooding.
Residents are asked to put their bins on the kerbside by 6am to allow for collection.
Any residents whose bins weren't collected on Monday, and their street is not flooded, should leave them out for collection on Tuesday.
Residents are asked to ensure bin lids are closed to prevent them from filling with water.
Regular waste will be prioritised over recycling. Recycling bins will be collected when the flood waters have subsided.
Council crews are working hard to return to normal services.
