Rugby Australia (RA) and IHG Hotels & Resorts have extended their long-time partnership for an additional three years with the global hospitality leader confirmed as the Official Hotel Partner of the Wallabies and Wallaroos through at least to the end of 2028.
The new agreement extends an extraordinary 24-year relationship between the organisations, ensuring Australia's national teams continue to benefit from world-class hospitality while bringing the spirit of rugby to life for supporters, players and destinations worldwide.
As part of the new three-year partnership, IHG Hotels & Resorts will have high-impact visibility across major international rugby fixtures, with the iconic IHG logo to continue to feature proudly on the Wallabies' official match shorts.
IHG branding will also be integrated into stadium big screens and LED field perimeter signage for both Wallabies and Wallaroos Test matches, alongside premium virtual grass signage during Wallabies broadcasts.
The extended partnership comes at an exciting time of growth for both organisations, with the golden decade of Australian rugby under way.
Rugby Australia CEO Phil Waugh said: "For over twenty years, IHG Hotels & Resorts has been a tremendous partner of Australian Rugby. To extend this relationship for another three years is a testament to our shared values and mutual commitment to excellence.
"IHG provides a world-class 'home away from home' that allows our athletes to perform at their best."
IHG Hotels & Resorts Managing Director Australasia & Pacific Matt Tripolone said: "Rugby Australia has been part of IHG's story for 24 years, and we are incredibly proud to continue a partnership that means a great deal to our business partners, hotel teams, colleagues and guests.
"Rugby is a truly international sport, with a unique ability to bring people together across countries and communities, which makes it a natural fit for IHG and our world of travel and hospitality.
"As the game continues to build momentum, this renewal gives us the opportunity to keep supporting Rugby Australia, the Wallabies, the Wallaroos and the fans who follow them, while creating even more value for our guests and IHG One Rewards members."
