Russell Island: GBH Charge Filed, Police Update

Detectives from the Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a 57-year-old man following investigations into an alleged serious assault at Russell Island overnight, 5 June.

The 57-year-old Russell Island man was taken into custody at the Roebuck Street address following the incident around 8:50pm and has since been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.

He has been refused police bail and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 6 June.
