South Australia Police (SAPOL) are deeply saddened by the events in Bondi today.
Following the reports, SAPOL worked with the local Jewish community to provide a high visibility police presence at a Hanukah Festival in Adelaide tonight.
There is no information that there is a threat to the South Australian community.
SAPOL continue to work with other police jurisdictions and Commonwealth security agencies to ensure all necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of our community.
