Explora visitors can step into the world of augmented, virtual and mixed reality during a special event presented by Sandia National Laboratories on July 23.

The event is part of Sandia's seventh annual XR Conference, which brings together leaders in industry, developers and technology enthusiasts to explore the future of XR, also known as extended reality.

During Sandia XR Demo Day, Explora visitors will experience live, interactive demonstrations featuring cutting-edge human machine interfaces, immersive virtual reality applications and advanced robotics from Sandia, other national labs, universities and industry.

"This event showcases the leading edge of immersive technologies," said Matt Gallegos, a member of Sandia's research and development team and chair of the XR conference. "We aim to inspire curiosity and engagement in XR, whether you're a student, a developer or simply curious about the future."

The demonstrations are open to attendees of all ages.

Media are also invited to attend.
