Veterans Affairs Canada
The service and sacrifices of Canada's Veterans are an important part of our shared history. Across Saskatchewan, community organizations are helping Canadians learn about, honour and remember the people, places and events that have shaped our nation's military heritage.
Today, the Honourable Jill McKnight, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, highlighted approximately $55,000 in funding through the Commemorative Partnership Program for 21 projects across Saskatchewan[OB1] that have been approved so far in 2026. These projects include exhibits, commemorative events and other activities that help Canadians learn about and remember Veterans and their service.
