Townsville City Council has restored water supply to Saunders Beach after repairing a 200mm pipe. Crews were on-site within an hour of the leak being reported.
Water supply to the community, which has around 230 properties, was disrupted while the repairs were made. The repairs were completed and water supply restored by 6pm.
Council regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the Saunders Beach community for their understanding and patience.
