Save date: American College of Surgeons to host Virtual Clinical Congress, October 23-27

Annual conference will include guest lectures by prominent clinicians and hundreds of online scientific sessions for today's practicing surgeon and team members

CHICAGO (July 29, 2021): The annual American College of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Congress 2021 Virtual will convene October 23-27, offering surgeons and guest clinicians both live and on-demand sessions.

Building on the success of last year's first virtual Congress, the ACS is confident in its ability to offer a best-in-class educational event for all attendees, presenters, and exhibitors. The conference will offer the finest in continuing education for surgeons across all specialties and throughout all stages of their careers. The program will focus on the latest advances in surgical science, practice, and education, all celebrated under this year's theme, "Resilience in the Pursuit of Excellence." Plans are well underway to present another robust five-day conference of educational offerings and guest lectures, along with our signature Opening Ceremony and Sunday evening Convocation—all will be remote activities.

Research-in-progress reports from surgical care teams around the globe will be presented during the Scientific Forum abstract sessions and e-Poster sessions, and distinguished guest lecturers will deliver orations in the disciplines of cancer care, trauma, basic science, surgical history, and more. Other program highlights include panel sessions moderated by experts in the field on present-day surgical issues, and general sessions covering a wide range of current topics focused on helping surgeons provide the best possible care for their patients.
