South Sydney's biggest outdoor art festival is back on 27-29 June 2025 with a bang!
Now in its fifth year, Council's Uncontained Arts Festival transforms Belgrave Street, Kogarah into a vibrant open-air gallery, celebrating three days of bold creativity with immersive installations, interactive art experiences, captivating light displays, live music, and delicious food.
Supported by Major Sponsor, Optus, and Event Sponsors Sydney Water and VJB Group, this year, the free event will feature neon paint life-drawing, live murals, a LED tunnel, a silent disco, kids activities including face painting, live music, and much more.
Grab your dinner, desserts, coffee, and snacks from the delicious food trucks. On Friday, see the Uncontained ice sculpture on display next to the bar. Heating and seating will be available so you can relax between all the activities.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, "I encourage everyone to visit Kogarah during Uncontained for some free winter fun.''
"Since our first festival in 2021, Uncontained has grown to become a landmark event in our community."
"It is more than just a festival — it's a vibrant celebration of artistic expression, imagination, and connection. With something for everyone, it invites people of all ages and backgrounds to explore, create, and be inspired together."
