Attend a free Scam Awareness Webinar at MidCoast Libraries to learn about the latest scams, what to look out for and how to protect yourself.

As part of Scams Awareness Week from 27 November to 1 December, Legal Aid NSW is hosting a webinar for the community presented by Finn Hipkin from the Legal Aid NSW Consumer Law team and Carleen McConnell from Fair Trading NSW to talk about the latest scams, what to look out for and how to protect yourself from them.

So far this year, Scamwatch has received over 230,000 reports about scams with over $390 million lost. Investment scams is the top scam by amount lost.

"This important webinar will help our community to protect themselves against the latest scams," said Alex Mills, MidCoast Council's Manager Libraries, Community and Cultural Services.
