The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment No. 86 to Local Planning Scheme No. 4. The amendment was published in the Government Gazette on Friday 8 May 2026 and now forms part of Local Planning Scheme No.4.
The scheme amendment guides future redevelopment of grouped and multiple dwellings in cases where the current built density is higher than the density code indicated on the Scheme Map.
