With school holidays just around the corner, now is the time to jump onto Council's website and plan the free School Holiday Guide activities you'll take your kids along to.
The guide is filled with low- and no-cost activities to help keep the kids happy without breaking the bank.
Jensen mother-of-two Samantha Edwards said having a resource like the School Holiday Guide available made it easier than ever to find activities for her energetic boys.
"As a parent it can be hard to keep your kids busy during the holidays, which is why Council's School Holiday Guide is so handy," Mrs Edwards said.
"I'm looking forward to taking my boys along to some of the free activities to help them get their energy out and keep them entertained."
Acting Mayor Ann-Maree Greaney said the guide was a shortcut to keeping children from toddlers to teenagers entertained during the winter break.
"This free guide is Council's way to keep our youngest residents and visitors engaged during the winter holiday break," Cr Greaney said.
"You can download the School Holiday Guide from our website for free and keep it handy for the next fortnight to keep your kids active and engaged during the holidays."
