Search Begins for New Research Associate VP Supporting Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts

Vice President for Research and Innovation Jenny Lodge has launched an internal search for a new leader to guide the Office for Research and Innovation in supporting research and scholarship in the social and behavioral sciences, humanities and the arts.

The Associate Vice President for Research and Innovation will be a key member of the Office for Research and Innovation leadership team, working closely with faculty and senior leadership across the institution to design, refine and implement services, programs and policies to further Duke's position as a leader in world-class research and scholarship.

This role's overall responsibilities and expectations will include providing input and guidance to all aspects of the Office for Research and Innovation to ensure that the office delivers excellent service and support for all Duke's researchers and scholars, including faculty, trainees and staff.

The Associate Vice President will also be expected to serve as a liaison between the Office for Research and Innovation and key leaders in relevant schools, university-wide institutes, initiatives, centers, libraries and administrative offices.
