Search commences for missing man, Pioneer Bay

A search is underway for a 36-year-old man reported missing in Pioneer Bay.

Lee Eastham left the Pioneer Bay boat ramp around 4.30pm on Thursday, April 7, with a small black and white dog on board. He was reported missing yesterday afternoon after he failed to return from his trip.

Whitsunday Water Police, with the assistance of volunteers, are conducting a search for the man and his dog in Pioneer Bay.

Lee is described as Caucasian in appearance, of a slim build with short brown hair. He was seen travelling in a three metre long tinny with registration ZV7160.

Anyone with information on Lee's whereabouts is encouraged to contact police.
