Search continues for missing Timboon woman Ethel

Police are appealing for the community's assistance as they continue to search for missing Timboon woman Ethel, who hasn't been seen for over a week.

The 84-year-old, who is also known as Rosie, left her Timboon address sometime last Thursday afternoon (10 June) and may have travelled to the Glenthompson area.

She is believed to have left in her 2010 grey Holden Commodore with registration YGT 150 and likely had her white Maltese Shih Tzu in her possession.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Ethel's welfare due to the length of time she has been missing and she has a medical condition.

Local police have been assisted by the Air Wing in searching the Southern Grampians, Moyne, Warrnambool and Corangamite areas since her disappearance but have yet to locate her.

Investigators are again appealing for anyone who may have seen Ethel or her vehicle to come forward to police.

Police have also re-released images of Ethel and her car in the hope someone may recognise them.

Ethel is Caucasian with curly grey hair and was possibly wearing blue floral pants and a pink cardigan.

Anyone who sees Ethel is urged to call Triple Zero (000).

Anyone with information about Ethel's whereabouts is urged to contact Warrnambool Police Station on 5560 1333.
