Search underway for man missing in bushland at Okeden (Dalby)

Police are coordinating a search for a 47-year-old local man who failed to return from a walk yesterday at Okeden (Dalby).

Jason Senescall was last seen on Boondooma Dam Lookout Road at around 9am when he left a residence to go for a walk in nearby bushland.

A ground search utilising Police and SES personnel are searching bushland, both on foot and in vehicles, with a Police Forward Command Post set up in the vicinity of Boondooma Dam Lookout Road.

Police are appealing for local residents to search their properties and sheds and anyone with information is urged to contact police (details below).

Jason, who took no provisions with him (such as food and water), is described as caucasian, approximately 180cms tall with a proportionate build, hazel eyes and dark, short brown hair. It is unknown what he was wearing except for a red bucket hat.

The area is not subject to current bushfire activity.
