A search is underway for a missing swimmer at Bondi Beach today.
The alarm was raised about 11.30am (Friday 22 February 2019) when a man, believed to be wearing blue swimming shorts, was seen to enter the water and disappear.
Police from Eastern Suburbs responded and commenced a search with the assistance of the Marine Area Command, PolAir, Surf Life Saving NSW and Bondi Lifeguards.
The search continues.
