Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad have charged a second man following an aggravated home invasion where a man was shot in Clear Lake last week.
A 35-year-old Horsham man was charged on Tuesday with home invasion, aggravated burglary, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, reckless conduct endanger life, intentionally cause serious injury and recklessly cause serious injury.
He was remanded to appear at Horsham Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Friday 17 May.
On Monday 13 May, a 31-year-old Dimboola man was charged with home invasion, aggravated burglary and various assault charges.
He was remanded to appear at Horsham Magistrates' Court on 22 August,
The charges follow an incident on Thursday, 9 May when emergency services were called to a Harrow-Clear Lake Road address around 4pm, following reports a man had been shot.
A 43-year-old man sustained non life threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
A woman in her 40s was not physically injured during the incident.
Police believe the parties involved were known to each other.
