Second Man Charged After Murder At Croydon Park Home

A second man has been charged following an investigation into the alleged murder of a man in Croydon Park.

Just after 5pm (Monday 2 June 2025), emergency services were called to a home on Kembla Street, Croydon Park, following reports of an alleged stabbing.

On arrival officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command found the body of a 29-year-old Malaysian national man inside the home with alleged stab wounds to his neck.

Strike Force Buchanan was established to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

A 32-year-old man has since been charged with murder and remains before the courts.

Following extensive inquiries and an appeal for public information, officers arrested a 36-year-old man at Burwood Police Station, about 6.50pm yesterday (Tuesday 3 June 2025).

Following inquiries, the man was charged with conceal serious indictable offence (greater than 20yrs max) of other.

He was refused bail to appear before Burwood Local Court today (Wednesday 4 June 2025).
