Second man charged after teen critically injured - Kellyville

A second man has been charged after a teenager was found with critical injuries at Kellyville earlier this week.

Just before 10.30pm (Monday 4 January 2021), emergency services were called to Perseus Circuit where they found a 17-year-old boy with serious head injuries.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the teen's injuries.

An 18-year-old man was arrested at Windsor Police Station about 10.30am on Tuesday (5 January 2021). He was charged with assault with intent to rob armed offensive weapon wound/weapon and remains before the courts.

Following further inquiries, a 19-year-old man was arrested at Castle Hill Police Station yesterday (Friday 8 January 2020).

He was charged with negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and failing to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing grievous bodily harm.

He was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 3 February 2021.

The 17-year-old boy remains in a critical condition at Westmead Hospital.
