A second man will face court after being charged with murder following the stabbing death of a man in Sydney's south-west in 2022.
Just after 9.00pm on Saturday 19 November 2022, a 25-year-old man presented to Campbelltown Hospital with a stab wound to his torso.
Despite the efforts of attending medical staff, the man died at the hospital.
Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene at the hospital.
Detectives, with assistance from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, established Strike Force Taralye, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
On Thursday 15 February 2024, detectives from Strike Force Taralye arrested a 25-year-old man at Gorokan. He was charged with murder and remains before the courts.
Following further inquiries, about 3.00pm today (Thursday 29 February 2024), detectives attended a correctional facility on the Mid North Coast and arrested a 25-year-old man.
He has been charged with murder.
The man was refused bail and will appear at Kempsey Local Court on Friday 1 March 2024.
