Second Teen Charged in North Shore Tobacconist Thefts

A second teenage boy has been charged following an investigation into a number of alleged stealing offences across Sydney's lower north shore.

Between May and June 2026, officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command received reports of multiple break and enters, assaults and thefts at several businesses in Neutral Bay and Crows Nest.

Police commenced an investigation into the incidents.

About 7.15pm yesterday (Thursday 30 July 2026), a 17-year-old boy was arrested at Chatswood Police Station.

He was charged with:

  • assault retail worker
  • two counts of robbery in company

The boy was granted conditional bail to appear before a children's court on Tuesday 18 August 2026.
