Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with Kenyan President William Ruto. He expressed deep appreciation for Kenya's contribution to the agreement signed by the government of Ethiopia and the Tigray People's Liberation Front that led to a cessation of hostilities. The Secretary also applauded President Ruto's leadership to advance East African Community-led talks to ease tensions in eastern DRC.
