Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo spoke today with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates. Secretary Pompeo and Minister of Foreign Affairs Al Nahyan discussed U.S. and Emirati efforts to contain and mitigate COVID-19, and Secretary Pompeo thanked Minister Al Nahyan for the UAE's strong partnership with the United States. They also discussed regional issues and countering Iran's destabilizing behavior in the region.
