The Links Shell Cove is the place to be this week, as the venue hosts the final event of the Ford Women's NSW Open Regional Qualifying Series from 17-19 February 2026.
This prestigious tournament is one of six regional qualifiers held across NSW, giving professional and elite amateur golfers the chance to secure one of only two coveted spots in the NSW Open, one of Australia's premier women's golf championships.

Spectators can enjoy free entry across all three days, with the final round of the tournament being broadcast live on Kayo Sports from 11am on Thursday the 19th. Spectators can follow the action by walking the course during play, or enjoy viewing the live broadcast on a large outdoor screen.
Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said the city was proud to welcome some of the best athletes from across the world with 33 international players competing alongside some of Australia's best at one of the region's most scenic courses.
"This is a proud moment for Shellharbour. Hosting a NSW Open qualifier puts our city and our course on show and we're thrilled to welcome players, visitors and fans to experience everything our region has to offer," Mayor Homer said.
The Links Shell Cove, known for its wide fairways, coastal winds and dramatic scenery, will provide a fitting and challenging finale to the qualifying series.
The tournament will also feature a Pro‑Am event, offering locals and visitors the rare opportunity to play alongside both local and international professional golfers in the lead‑up to the two‑day championship qualifier.
A Pro‑Am pairs professional golfers with amateur players, giving participants a unique chance to compete shoulder‑to‑shoulder with top talent and gain insights from the sport's rising stars.
Beyond the fairways, spectators can enjoy a relaxed summer experience at The Links. Visitors may choose to settle in for a meal or drink at The Tavern, take in panoramic views of the course, or follow parts of the fairway to get close to the action. With tournament leaders expected to complete their rounds from around 3pm each day, it's an ideal setting to enjoy quality sport in a picturesque environment.
Whether you're a passionate golf fan, supporting women's sport, or simply looking for a scenic summer outing, the event brings together the best of both competition and destination.
