A sergeant from the Transit Public Safety Command has been charged following an internal investigation.
The 43-year-old woman has been charged with one count each of sexual assault and unlawful assault.
The charges relate to an incident while the officer was on-duty on 30 September 2021.
She has been summonsed to appear before court at a later date.
