Officers from Fortitude Valley Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have released vision of three people they believe can assist with investigations into the alleged serious assault of a woman in Fortitude Valley in August this year.

Investigations indicate around 4am on Sunday, 24 August, officers were called to a Brunswick Street nightclub, following reports of a physical altercation between two groups of people.

A 22-year-old Kingston woman sustained serious head injuries during the altercation and was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

It is believed two males, and a female, then left the scene on foot following the incident.

Police have released images of two males and a female who they believe could assist with investigations into the matter.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the three people is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
