Serious assault appeal in Pialba, QLD

Detectives investigating a serious assault incident that left a man with severe injuries at a Pialba residence on the weekend are appealing for public assistance.

Between 12.50am on Saturday, January 5 and 1.15am Sunday, January 6 an altercation occurred at an Alice Street address resulting in a 58-year-old man sustaining severe injuries.

Anyone in the area during 10pm on January 5 and 3am on January 6 who may be able to assist with investigations, particularly pedestrians with mobile phone footage or road users with dash cam vision, is urged to contact police.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
