Police have charged a man following a serious assault in Milton last night, July 12.
Around 11.13pm, officers were called to Caxton Street following reports a man had sustained serious head injuries following an assault.
The victim, a 21-year-old Bald Hills man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious-but-stable condition.
A 29-year-old Warner man was taken into custody at the scene.
He has since been charged with one count of assaults occasioning bodily harm.
The man is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 25.
