Serious assault Ottoway, South Australia

Two men are in hospital following a serious assault at Ottoway early this morning.

Just after 1.30am, Sunday 28 February, police were called to May Terrace after reports a man had been stabbed. On police arrival they located a 35-year-old man with stab wounds and two other injured men.

Police investigations revealed the alleged suspect of the stabbing a 37-year-old man was then assaulted by another man at the home.

The vistim of the stabbing and the suspect were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where they remain with serious but stable injuries. They will be spoken to once medically fit.

The third man and the suspect of the second assault was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

Upon his release, the 36-year-old man from Ottoway was arrested and charged with assault causing serious harm for the assault of the 37-year-old man. He was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 30 March.

This not a random attack, the three men are known to each other.
