Serious assaultin Brisbane City

Detectives have released vision as part of their investigation into a serious assault in Brisbane City on February 20.

At around 4:30pm a man entered the jewellery store on Queen Street armed with a knife.

The man pushed a male staff member to the ground before fleeing the store on foot.

The 72-year-old male staff member received a minor back injury during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance and is of a medium build.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
