A large land search is underway on the North Shore as serious concerns are held for a missing woman.
Maro Derderian, aged 78, was last seen at a unit on Helen Street at Lane Cove North about 3.30pm today (Sunday 4 June 2023).
Police were alerted when Maro's family couldn't locate her.
Serious concerns are held for her welfare and officers from North Shore Police Area Command are conducting inquiries, and facilitating a large land search, to locate her.
Maro lives with dementia and resides in an aged care facility; however, was attending a family gathering at the Lane Cove North unit today.
She is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, approximately 152cm tall, with a medium build and white short curly hair.
Maro was last seen wearing a red jacket, and pink trousers.
