Serious crash in Prospect

Police are investigating a serious crash in Sydney’s west this morning., NSW Police say

Just before 5.30am (Thursday 22 February 2018), emergency services were called to Reservoir Road at Prospect, following reports of a crash.

A Toyota Camry and a Toyota Hilux utility have crashed head on, before then colliding with an Audi sedan.

The male driver of the Camry was trapped in the vehicle for a period of time before being freed. He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The male driver of the Hilux has been taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

The male driver of the Audi was uninjured.

Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstance of the crash.

Reservoir Road remains closed with local traffic diversions in place.

Inquiries continue.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
