Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad are investigating an incident that occurred overnight in Humpty Doo.
At approximately 10:30pm police received a report stating that two people had been seriously assaulted and run down by a vehicle, Northern Territory Police say
Police attended and established two separate crime scenes. Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Unit and Crime Scene Examination Unit have processed the scenes.
The two victims are undergoing treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are working to establish the circumstances of what occurred. At this stage the alleged offenders remain outstanding.
Police are particularly interested in speaking to potential witnesses who were in the area of Forrest Drive, Humpty Doo, or at the intersection of Strangways Road and Spencely Road at the time of the incidents.
