Midland Detectives are investigating an incident that occurred in Middle Swan on Sunday 15 January 2017 whereby a man was seriously injured.
At about 1:00am, a group of males forced their way into a home on Spiers Place and threatened the occupants with a firearm. An altercation took place and the group of males ran off towards Toodyay Road, WA Police say.
The victim, a 48 year old man from Eden Hill ran after the group to stop them. He was seriously assaulted and received stab wounds to his head and torso.
The person depicted in the composite image maybe able to assist in the investigation.
He is described as 25-30 years, dark skinned, slim build with short curly dark hair.
Anyone with information regarding this incident, or who recognises the person depicted in the composite image, is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
