Serious Traffic Crash Charges At Kingston

Police have charged a man following a serious traffic crash in Kingston on Monday, April 21.

About 1.30pm, police and emergency services were called to a Gloxinia Street address to reports a person had been hit by a vehicle.

It will be alleged, a 40-year-old Waterford West man attended the address in a white Nissan Navara dual cab ute and struck a 40-year-old Regents Park man.

The 40-year-old Waterford West man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, unlawful use of a vehicle, possession of dangerous drugs and common assault.

His bail has been refused and he is expected to appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 23.
