Serious traffic crash in Lutwyche, QLD

A boy has been seriously injured following a traffic crash that occurred in Lutwyche this afternoon, Queensland Police say.

At 3.35pm, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Gympie Road and Kedron Park Road.

The driver of one of the cars, a 36-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

A 6-year-old boy that was a passenger in the same car was taken to Lady Cilento Hospital with serious head injuries.

The driver of the other car, a 50-year-old woman, was also treated for minor injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
