Service Station robbery at West Croydon, South Australia

Two people have been arrested for a robbery at a West Croydon service station this afternoon.

About 2.20pm Wednesday 20 April, a man and woman entered the Port Road service station and were seen by staff acting suspiciously inside the store. When staff challenged the pair, the man produced a knife and threatened them. The pair then left with a large bag containing stolen items.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Police patrols flooded the area and located the couple at the nearby train station where they were arrested.

A 22-year-old man of no fixed address and a 25-year-old woman from Parafield Gardens are currently being interviewed by police.
