Shepley Oval has been named as the venue to host the Kookaburra Women's Premier First XI One-Day Grand Final.

This season, the Grand Final returns to a Saturday timeslot with the game to be played on Saturday 9 March.

A Reserve Day has been scheduled for Sunday 10 March should Melbourne's weather interfere with the fixture.

It will be the first time since the 2015-16 season that Dandenong Cricket Club has hosted the final.

"We're delighted to have been asked to host the 2023-24 Women's Premier First XI Grand Final," said Michael Findlay, President of the Dandenong CC.

"The ground is in excellent condition due to the good work our curator Shaun McMahon and his team.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone to our facility and hope as many people as possible can enjoy the experience."

Cricket Victoria thanked Dandenong CC for hosting the game.

"Thank you to the Dandenong Cricket Club for hosting the Grand Final at their wonderful venue at Shepley Oval," said Liam Murphy, Cricket Victoria's General Manager of Premier Cricket and Community Cricket.

"Shepley Oval is ranked in the top five ovals in Victoria and will be an excellent ground for our Women's Firsts One-Day Final."

The Women's Second and Third XI Grand Finals will be played a week earlier at Beaumaris Secondary College on Saturday 2 March.

The CitiPower Centre is unavailable to host the Women's Premier First XI One-Day Grand Final due to the Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and Western Australia scheduled to start on Monday 11 March.
