Corangamite Shire's outdoor pools are almost ready to open their gates for the 2025-2026 season.

Camperdown, Cobden and Terang pools will open Saturday 22 November.

Skipton and Timboon will follow on Saturday 29 November and Lismore on Saturday 6 December.

Sport and Recreation Coordinator Jane Hinds said Council and YMCA staff had been busy preparing the six outdoor swimming pools for the warmer months.

"A number of renewal projects have been completed at the pools," Ms Hinds said.

"Camperdown, Cobden and Timboon Pools have been painted, underground pipework has been maintained at Camperdown, Cobden and Timboon and shade sails have been replaced at Camperdown and Skipton.

"Council's Parks and Gardens team has been maintaining gardens and surrounds."

"The bureau of meteorology has forecast a hotter than average summer and your local pool is the ideal spot to beat the heat.

"Season passes, which provide unlimited access to all six pools, are available from the pools. EFTPOS facilities are available at each pool.

"You can use a season pass at any pool so why not head up to Skipton and see artist Jimmy Dvate's amazing new mural on the pool entrance? It depicts native plants and animals that reflect the natural beauty of our region."

Season tickets cost $195 per family, $100 per adult and $90 per child. Day tickets are $16.50 per family, $5.50 per adult and $4.50 per child.
