A man has died in hospital and four other men are in serious condition following an alleged shooting in Sydney's south west.
About 8.30pm on Tuesday 19 May 2026, police were called to Liverpool Hospital, following reports two men – both believed to be aged in their 20s – had presented with multiple wounds.
One of the men underwent treatment, however, died a short time later.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The other man remains in hospital in a stable condition.
About 8.40pm, two men presented to Fairfield Hospital in critical condition and are being treated.
About 9.50pm, a man – believed to be a 19-year-old – appeared at Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition where he is being treated for injuries.
Police have established a crime scene at a home in Canley Heights.
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command – with assistance from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad – have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incidents.
