Detectives are investigating an incident overnight where a firearm was discharged into a house at Currumbin Waters, Queensland Police say.
The incident is believed to have occurred around 7.30pm at a Judeller Road residence.
An unknown person was seen leaving the area in a black coloured vehicle.
Damage was caused to a front window and an internal wall.
A 27-year-old man and other occupants were home at the time of the incident.
Extensive patrols were conducted however the vehicle and the person were not located.
No one was injured.
Investigations are continuing.
