Police were called to an address on Wilton Crescent, Boronia Heights following reports of shots fired into a residence overnight.
Early investigations indicate two bullets were fired into a glass door shortly after midnight (October 25).
No-one was injured.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing, however, it does not appear to be a random incident and there is no on-going threat to the public.
This incident does not appear to be linked to a similar incident at Runcorn last night (October 24).
Anyone with information or CCTV/dash cam footage of that area from around 12.45am is asked to contact police.
