Investigators from Yarra Crime Investigation Unit have charged a man and woman with drug and weapons offences following the execution on a search warrant in Richmond yesterday.
Officers executed the warrant at an address on Little Buckingham Street just after 9am and allegedly located trafficable quantities of various drugs including methylamphetamine, GHB and ketamine.
Also located was two imitation firearms, ASP batons, machetes, samurai swords, a prison officer's uniform and lanyard, war medals and an amount of cash.
A 35-year-old Richmond man has been charged with 35 charges including
possess imitation firearms, possess proceeds of crime, possess prohibited weapons, possess GHB and methylamphetamine, traffick methylamphetamine, GHB and ketamine.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Collingwood Magistrates' Court on 17 June.
A 28-year-old Richmond woman has also been charged with similar offences and was remanded overnight to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court this morning.
